The single world can be something of a daunting experience, all that swiping on Tinder and stressing over which pictures you should choose to try and meet that special someone.
The thing is, in this age of online engagement, we seem to forget that sometimes the best place for sparks to fly is face to face. The idea of taking that plunge might be a scary one, but what if you could combine the experience of real-world dating and online dating?
It’s time you met Taga10, the revolutionary way to make new connections in the real world. That video up top should give you an idea of what Taga10 is all about, although if you’re looking for a little more this below comes from their Indiegogo page:
The tags are printed with an individual QR code. This means that once you have downloaded the free taga10 app you can scan the code and write your own message exclusively for that tag. You can also include images and your personal info, but that’s entirely up to you. Then it’s time to take a chance and have a bit of fun.
You discreetly attach the tag somewhere the person that you fancy will find it. Maybe on their bag strap or at their work station, or if you’re a little more daring, on their coat sleeve. When they discover the tag -and wonder what it is- they can scan the code and they will be directed to the app, and more importantly, your message.
This opens up a private sms chat session between just the two of you and allows you the opportunity to show off just how charming you can be. With a little luck this will lead to a first date with a difference.
Of course there’s the added thrill of getting caught in the act of that discreet tagging, but at least you have an ‘in’ and something of a conversation starter.
You can check out Taga10 on Twitter (HERE), keep an eye on their website for all the latest developments (HERE) and maybe get involved with the funding yourself (HERE). Just a small donation and you will grab yourself a Gift Box to get the ball rolling, after that it’s over to you!
