This is the greatest thing you’ll see all day.
In a promo video for Guitar Hero’s new feature which lets you play for a live audience, Lenny Kravitz and James Franco go back to back while trying to steer clear of the crowd’s boos.
The game has always attempted to take on the guise of the rock star celebrity and this form of role-playing is highlighted in the trailer. Directed by Portlandia‘s Jonathan Krise, the trailer features some sparring vocals between the two rockstars in their own rights, each drawing attention to the other’s respective vanities, just before Lenny buckles and teaches Franco how to make the guitar his bitch.
FreeStyle Games will release their new product 20 October, and Guitar Hero Live will be available to purchase for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and Wii U.
Badassary indeed.
