Honestly, the life of the average iPhone is the bane of every owner’s existence. But once that battery is drained and you need the most amount of juice before you head out again, there are some tricks you can utilise to make that charge time happen a little quicker:
1. If you plug an iPhone 6 Plus into a normal wall charger and wait five minutes, you’ll likely see a 3% or so increase in battery life. (Basically, try stay away from charging your phone through your Mac/laptop/car charger.)
2. Then, put your iPhone in Airplane mode. Your iPhone won’t waste energy on notifications, texts, or searching for that eluding signal.
3. Take off your iPhone’s case. Batteries in the iPhone don’t do well in heat (so keep out of the sun as well).
4. Another Secret? Use an iPad charger instead.
5. And the most obvious: leave your phone. When the display screen is on, it eats up your battery.
Or just purchase a 2-4-1 power banks special for R249.
It’s a pleasure.
