  • Brilliant – Listen To Sir David Attenborough Narrate Adele’s ‘Hello’

Growing up, Sir David Attenborough brought another level of sophistication to animal behaviour, even when things did get a little explicit. In his own unique way he was able to pass comment on the natural activities that went down in the animal kingdom, from carnivorous killings to sexual desires.

But the latest offering from the soft-voiced legend is a narration of the beginning of Adele’s latest (and ever-so-popular) video Hello. Although it’s a little unusual to hear him narrate human activities, the weirdest parts are his use of the word “hashtag”, a little diss on Adele’s ‘flip phone’ and a soft ‘Hello’ in reply to her the start of the song.

It was in response to a challenge by BBC Radio 1’s Greg James. And it is so great.
