The joys of living life in Monaco – beautiful and wealthy people everywhere, massive tax benefits and streets primed for racing your latest toys.
Now you might expect Lewis Hamilton to have that last one down, although the latest evidence would point to the contrary. We have our first picture of the £1,5 million (R32,5 million) Pagani Zonda supercar that Lewis couldn’t quite handle as the Mirror reports:
The accident happened in the early hours of hours Monday morning before the F1 world champion was due to fly to Brazil for this weekend’s Sao Paulo grand prix.
Hamilton is understood to have lost control of his purple Zonda, which can reach speeds of 217mph, and hit a stationary car. Police were called to the scene.
Hamilton delayed his flight to Brazil, blaming a ‘fever’.
The sneaky Instagram picture that dished the dirt on that early morning high-speed crash then:
And then Lewis’ rebuttal as the news broke:
Lewis might find sympathy from the public hard to come by after his comments about Michael Schumacher earlier this week.
