It would be fair to say there isn’t much love lost between Kevin Pietersen and Gulam Bodi. Not that Bodi is alone on that front, KP has a long and storied history of butting heads with cricketers past and present.

The thing is that sixteen years ago, when KP was still a rerige South African, he was trying to break into the KwaZulu-Natal based Dolphins side. It’s well known that Kev left and headed to England, the then spinner angered at being overlooked in favour of players of colour.

What is less known is that the final straw was Bod being picked ahead of Pietersen, and now in light of Bodi’s match-fixing ban Pietersen couldn’t help but throw out a chirp.

    Here’s his long-awaited tweet:

I’m tempted to say it takes one to know one but in this case I’ll side with KP – Bodi is nothing short of an absolute bell end.
