A Jumbo Cash & Carry situated in Crown mines, Johannesburg, was the scene of a massive fire on Thursday morning. Although the cause of the fire is yet to be determined, it is estimated that stock worth around R100 million was destroyed.
All night shift employees were safely evacuated and no one was injured, but the fire, which started at around 5am, caused for a prompt response from the local fire department.
