CNN Went Inside Pollsmoor Prison And It Wasn’t Pretty [Video]

Back in January we wrote a piece about the conditions in Pollsmoor Prison, the squalid cells and health hazards pretty much a well-known fact.
Now the prison has attracted the attention of CNN, who sent reporter David McKenzie in to chat with inmates. Just bear in mind that the men crammed into that cell have yet to be convicted, forced to exist in a hell hole like this before they have had their day in court.
A sobering statistic – each month around 100 prisoners are transferred away from Pollsmoor, with another 500 awaiting trial prisoners admitted daily.
