    If your mate has just one-upped you with a R3 million brand new Cannondale, perhaps you can outmanoeuvre them with these incredible hot cycling gloves, featuring built-in LED turn signals.

    You simply must watch the video above and you can buy them online here.

    As you can see by the red arrow above, they don’t ship to South Africa. But actually they do, if you use Postbox Courier. They will get them here for you in under a week.

    And yes there will be VAT payable, but luckily these guys handle the parcel from your US (or UK or Hong Kong) address that they give you – all the way to your door in SA.

    What’s more, they make sure you pay the LEAST amount of VAT and customs duty, ensuring your product is given the most correct and affordable category at customs.

    USD59.95 = R872.27
    No sales tax

    Courier USD35.00 / R509.25
    Duty R100.31
    Import VAT R149.77
    Clearance R125.00
    Disb R12.50

    Total R1769.10

    It’s interesting to note that, generally, any gloves attract 30% duty, but they found a specific tariff for sports gloves that attract a mere 10%. You can be sure that FEDEX and co would have left that up to customs to decide (i.e. 30%!).

    HOW DO I ORDER PRODUCTS FROM OVERSEAS THAT DON’T SHIP TO SA?

    For those of you who are slightly behind, Postbox Courier is the groundbreaking service that gives you a shipping address in the US, UK and Hong Kong. So if you’re buying products that don’t ship to SA (like this drone from Amazon) then just give your US address (which Postbox Courier give you) and as soon as it is delivered there (usually same day) then Postbox Courier will grab it and bring it to you in South Africa in 3 to 5 days.

    But the best part about Postbox Courier is they handle your parcel every step of the way – meaning it doesn’t get “stuck” at customs here in SA and they also make sure you don’t get stung with the wrong VAT duty.

    You’ll also be pleased to know the owners of Postbox Courier are South African. You’re in very safe hands.

    It’s too easy.

    You should probably tell your cycling mates about this – they’re going to lose their mind when it comes to the kit they can’t order from the likes of Rapha.cc.
