Oscar must be well acquainted with the inside of a courtroom by now, especially the High Court in Pretoria.

Now, after what has been a long and drawn out legal battle, we are closer to finally knowing just how long the disgraced athlete will spend behind bars. More from EWN:

Sentencing procedures for convicted murderer Oscar Pistorius will take place between 13 and 17 June…

At the fresh sentencing procedures the State is set to argue for a heavy sentence, while the defence will ask the court to be lenient…

The state is, however, expected to push for the minimum 15-year jail term for a murderer.

Some photos of proceedings from News24:

    Excerpts from their live commentary:

Judge Aubrey Ledwaba, who agreed Pistorius could stay out on bail after his murder conviction, is expected to preside over sentencing hearing…

Nel says that State will be ready to proceed with sentencing on 13  and 14 June.

Nel has indicated that they are not opposing his bail…

Sentencing proceedings postponed to June 13 until June 17. Pistorius asked several times by judge if he understands. He responds with a mumbled “yes”.

    And with that court adjourns.

More scenes from Oscar’s appearance in court:

And still we wait to find out how long he will spend behind bars.
