Yesterday’s session in Parliament was a fiery affair, of course, culminating in the EFF being violently ejected from the building.
Now JZ is back in the National Assembly, replying to questions put forward by opposition parties.
Not that they’ll be there, with this from IOL:
Opposition parties have taken a tough stance by boycotting President Jacob Zuma’s reply to the debate on the Presidency’s budget vote on Thursday.
DA leader Mmusi Maimane said on Thursday that after he held consultations with other opposition parties they decided to boycott Zuma’s reply.
I’m not sure how giving Zuma free reign helps anyone but the man himself, although what do we know about the inner workings of politics?
Anyway here’s that live stream – happy Thursday to you too.
