So last night Cristiano Ronaldo made history by becoming the first man to score in four separate Euro tournaments, even though Portugal were held to a 3-3 draw with Hungary.

In the build up to the match Ronaldo was (of course) the centre of attention, but it wasn’t something he was all too pleased with.

Check this out – a reporter supposedly asked him whether he was prepared for the Hungary game, a rather standard question to be fair, but one that obviously angered the Real Madrid star:

    Why so serious, Cristiano?

Turns out it wasn’t the question that annoyed him, rather the TV channel which asked it. Here’s Metro:

Ronaldo has had a long-running feud with the TV station CMTV whose equipment ended up swimming with the fishes.

The former Manchester United man once refused to answer a question from the TV station in a press conference back in 2014.

According to reports, Ronaldo even tried to sue CMTV on one occasion and has been boycotting them for some time.

It’s understood the 24-hour Portuguese news channel have, in the past, broadcast stories about Ronaldo and his family which have upset the Real Madrid star.

It must be tough living under constant scrutiny, especially at major tournaments when the hopes of a country ride on your shoulders, but taking home around $88 million last year alone goes some way towards softening the blow.
