When you’re in a car watching one of South Africa’s big five, you’re generally what’s considered a sitting duck.
Never was that more true than with these chaps, Andrew and Sam, who came very up close and personal with a black rhino in an unnamed safari park.
Their account, according to eNCA:
Sam [said] “On the 11 of June 2016, Andrew and I were driving to go and see some cheetah which had been spotted from the lodge, we waited until all the guests had gone to their rooms and we were on lunch break. We went to the cheetah and on the way back we saw a great rock which was out of place (at this point I should mention I forgot my glasses at home so was not quite as blind as a bat), I pointed this rock out to Andrew who laughed and told me it wasn’t a rock, but a black rhino. We stopped and as we stopped, the breaks squeaked. This immediately aroused the rhino’s curiosity.”
