Finally, we’re in the last season before “autumn” hits.

That’s for the Yanks, because for us the newest generation of iPhone appears in spring (because we’re in the southern hemisphere, duh),  and this year is no different.

As always, there are countless rumours leading up to the next releases, keeping tech geeks on their toes and writers like us passing the information on to you.

So what is it we will see in September? Still, the rumours are more about its physical appearance rather than the iOS, but check it:

    • It might NOT be called the iPhone 7
    • There will be two different models with different screen sizes
    • It’ll look a lot like the iPhone 6/6s
    • And Apple might introduce a new color option
    • There’s a new dual-lens camera, but it might be exclusive to the bigger Plus model
    • It could be THICKER than the iPhone 6s rather than thinner
    • The camera will continue to bulge out on both models
    • It won’t be made of metal
    • It’ll survive drops in water
    • It could have a Smart Connector
    • The white plastic stripes won’t be so visible
    • It won’t have a headphone jack
    • It might have two speakers
    • It’ll come with Lightning EarPods
    • It could make all headphones noise-canceling
    • It might have wireless charging
    • It might not have a home button
    • It’ll run Apple’s new A10 chip
    • It’ll have a bigger battery
    • And it’ll cost at least $650 (R9 500)

While most of that information has been hinted at already, Business Insider takes a deeper look at each rumour – read all that stuff HERE.

Personally, I’m just going to wait till September and get it from Digicape.
