It’s been rather quiet on the Michael Schumacher front for a while now, but according to some folks in the know we should be in for very good news in the near future.
According to former Ferrari chairman Luca Cordero di Montezemolo, the seven-time world champ is responding very well to treatment.
This is an about turn from what he said in February, when he said Michael’s health was “not good”.
The Telegraph reports:
[Luca] offered renewed hope to fans of the German superstar on Monday.
“I’m very pleased to know that he is reacting,” he told Ecumenical News.
“I know how strong he is. I’m sure that thanks to his determination, which will be crucial, he will come out from this very, very difficult situation”…
Schumacher, who spent six months in an induced coma following the crash, has been receiving specialist medical care at home on the shores of Lake Geneva since September 2014.
At various times reports have indicated that Michael would recover but be paralysed, unable to speak and suffering from memory loss.
These new reports give hope to his fans around the world – keep fighting Schumi, you’re a champion.
