  • A Little Glimpse At How Seth Makes Living The Holiday Easier

We have a pretty broad age group in terms of readership here at 2OV, but generally most of you out there are somewhat tech-savvy.

I’m not talking about building an app or anything fancy like that, but most of us do know how to USE the kind of app that makes life far easier.

Take for example a decision like picking a restaurant to enjoy a good meal at. For some it’s a WhatsApp group or Facebook, where you pepper friends for suggestion.

For others it’s over to Google, and sifting through all the paid listings to find what you’re really after.

Then there’s the type that heads to the same restaurant, over and over again. Your loyalty is admirable, but Cape Town is turning into a foodie’s dream and you’re missing out.

Here’s what Seth does, because he’s a big fan of making life easier. Live the holiday and all that, remember?

He opens Connecto, where all the cool kids are making their own personal business directories and sharing with mates, and he taps on Near Me Now…

We’re after restaurants, so you tap on the hashtag #restaurant. Lo and behold, look what you find:

Well it’s kinda handy that Bocca is just around the corner, think that just about settles that then. Tap on Bocca, look what you find:

How easy is that? And that ‘Popular with people who like’ section is pure class – kinda makes it easy to branch out and try something different, doesn’t it?

Then again, you’re not always in the area where you intend to grab a bite to eat, and you’re not taking to Facebook to seek out suggestions because you’re better than that.

Let’s say you have a friend like Bruce, one of Seth’s close confidantes, who is a man of refined taste. Seth heads back to Connecto, finds Bruce’s listings, and clicks that #restaurant again.

Thanks for the suggestions Bruce, and Seth didn’t even have to bother you with a message or a call.

That’s the joy of Connecto really – it’s all the info you need, available with a few taps in a single app, and you can raid your friends’ suggestions without being that friend who’s always bombarding everyone for the lowdown.

Grab the app from the Apple Store HERE and Google Play store HERE.

Life made easier, sounds like a win. Living the holiday, my friends…
