Since 2015, those who are interested have known that one of Bieb’s favourite rapper is Tupac, along with Mase, Nas, Biggie, and Eminem.
So, when he appeared on BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge and did a stripped-down version of the rapper’s “Thugz Mansion”, there should be no surprise over how legit it was.
With the help of a single guitar player, Biebs’ acoustic cover was romantic AF – and even surprised the show’s host, DJ Clara Amfo.
He also covered Tracy Chapman’s “Fast Car” and presented his own stuff, “Cold Water” and “Let Me Love You”.
But when Amfo asked Bieber about his collaborations with Kanye West that didn’t end up happening, he left. He then tweeted his apologies:
Babe.
