We all had someone in high school who peer-pressured us, whether it was taking that first drag of a cigarette or getting drunk at their older cousin’s 21st.
But watching Britney Spears, a 34 year old celebrity, get peer pressured by Ellen Degeneres is way more entertaining than high school ever was – and way more entertaining than watching Brit do “karaoke” with James Corden.
To the absolute horror of shop assistants, but to the complete delight of shoppers, Ellen went rogue in a random shopping mall, tagging Britney in tow.
Why? “Because, we’re celebrities.”
(Also, because Brit is in the middle of her promo campaign run, but shhhhh.)
Although this was Britney’s time to shine, Ellen took Brit’s shyness in stride and bossed the situation, getting Brit to try on men’s suits, eat ice cream, and snuggle up in a display bed – all the while declaring “Because we’re celebrities!”
