It was the day the world began its downward spiral. Inspired by the rise of the Orange Menace, one local company released a tongue-in-cheek promotion.
And it was loved by all.
“Free orange suckers” was the Butler’s tagline, and they offered an orange sucker (duh) with every pizza ordered that fateful night Donald Trump ascended to the throne.
Serious traction on social media – over 5 000 likes:
So how do you follow up a success like that?
Well, just in time for the second most awful day of this year, Butler’s is offering you two Cornettos – one flavour all about the kisses and the other all about the hugs – for just an extra R22 with every order.
And to make it all better, the offer is valid for the whole month of February.
Of course, we don’t need to tell you that this means if your partner is down with pizza – given the fact that today comes with a 30+km/h south-easter and happens to be a weeknight, you might be excused if you want to keep things in doors.
HERE is their menu so you can plan your eve to the max – if you haven’t done so already.
