If there’s one word to describe what Serena Williams portrayed in the August cover story of Vanity Fair, it’s “fierce”.

The tennis star is pregnant with her first child and posed for the magazine along with her fiancé, Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian.

The feature was shot by world renowned photographer Annie Leibovitz, and has a naked Serena in the same pose made famous by Demi Moore back in 1991.

Chatting to Vanity Fair’s Buzz Bissinger, Serena shared much, including the story of how she and Ohanian met by complete chance back in 2015.
