I don’t cycle, but it’s tough not to admire the physical exploits of the riders that make it through the Tour de France in one piece.
It’s a gruelling test of human endurance, and of course it’s the legs that take the biggest battering.
Take for example Polish rider Paweł Poljański, who has completed all 16 stages thus far. That amounts to around 68 hours of pedalling, and there’s no skipping out on leg day in the saddle.
He shared this to his Instagram account:
