    Oh, Evita!

No, it’s not Argentina’s Eva Perón we’re talking about, but rather our own Miss Evita Bezuidenhout, “the most famous white woman in South Africa”.

Although normally found in Darling at her popular ‘Evita se Perron’ restaurant, Evita Bezuidenhout will be making her way to the City every Sunday for the month of September to perform at the Belmond Mount Nelson Hotel.

Yes, yes, the magnificent hotel Seth has been hanging out at this past week – here and here.

The four very intimate theatre-dinner evenings will see guests welcomed with scrumptious canapés prepared by Chef Rudi Liebenberg and his team, whilst sipping on a welcome drink and awaiting the arrival of South Africa’s most beloved icon.

Located in the hotel’s Ballroom, this is what you can expect:

Evita Bezuidenhout is now the most famous white woman in Luthuli House, cooking for reconciliation and keeping an eye on the fragile ball of democracy.

With Brexit, Trump, Putin, Mugabe, North Korea and Syria darkening the horizon, can she still find her optimism in the local mists of state capture, corruption, apathy and fear?

Come and ask your question and celebrate her answer. With humor, with hope and with a taste of the best of the Belmond Mount Nelson Hotel.”

    Yes, darling, yes.

    Classy, ne?

    The details:

    Time: 5PM – 9PM
