Although our favourite Miss Universe was crowned just a few days ago, she has already moved into an apartment in New York.

Yup, South Africa’s Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters will make the Big Apple her home during her year-long stint as Miss Universe. She has already appeared on various local American news channels as a part of a media week after her win, reports Channel24:

Demi-Leigh has embarked on a press tour and one of her first stops was Good Morning America; a breakfast show that has hosted other celebs like Harry Styles and Jennifer Lopez.

Although it’s short, Demi-Leigh did well and touched on the work she hopes to accomplish during her reign, as well as the “indescribable feeling” of attaining something she’s worked for her whole life.
