  • Emma Watson Handled Her Awkward Tattoo Typo Very Well

    No ragrets here.

Emma Watson, whose real life actions continue to prove she is, in fact, Hermione (the Harry Potter character that made her famous), went for an interesting fashion choice at this year’s Academy Awards.

While her dress of choice was a boldy-embellished dress by designer Ralph Lauren, it was her “new” tattoo that shook some feathers, reports Billboard.

A vocal supporter of the Time’s Up movement, Watson’s tattoo garnered some attention, both good and bad:

Because, well, people expect more from the Brown-educated actress.

Notice the issue? Well, for those who might have missed it, “Times” is missing an apostrophe. It should be “Time’s” because, you know, Time IS Up.

According to the Daily Mail, some accused her of “trying so hard to prove she’s feminist”, while others claimed “she just went from a 10 to a 4”.

Yeah, that’s what goes on in the comments section of the Daily Mail.

Thankfully it’s only a temporary, ‘fake’ tattoo, and Watson had a sense of humour about it all:

    Darling.

Of course, doing what she does best, this wasn’t the first time Watson used the red carpet as a platform for good this awards season:

She brought friend and activist Marai Larasi — who directs Imkaan, a U.K.-based organization working to prevent and address violence against black and minority ethnic women and girls — to the 2018 Golden Globe Awards, and spent the majority of her time before the ceremony raising awareness for Larasi’s work and the movements they both support.

To all the haters, back the F up and leave the woman alone.
