  • The Best Events We Can Find In Cape Town And Jozi This Long Weekend

This weekend is going to be a banger.

You know why? Long weekend, baby.

There are few things in this world better than an extra day or two off, and if you managed to wangle Monday, April 30 off, then you’re staring down the barrel of a five-day weekend.

Five days. Let that sink in.

So, what have you got planned? To steer you in the right direction, here are a few suggestions that might just step things up a notch.

Jozi, don’t say we never look out for you, because Thursday, April 26, it’s going down at Levelthree in Sandton. That’s where the latest Wine Not event is taking place, and it promises to be a blast.

    The basics:

Like they say at the top, the only decision you need to make is glass or bottle.

I hear you at the back, saying wine just ain’t your thang. Chillax, because there will be plenty of Sol Beer to keep you in fine spirits.

The official beer of Wine Not, Sol is the authentic Mexican beer that believes in freedom and independence, and celebrates those who want to be true to themselves.

    Remember – if you’re drinking Corona, you’re a gringo.

Anyway, you can find all the info about Wine Not’s event here.

Yo, Cape Town, we know we’re always going to look out for you, too. Sunday, April 29, you need some We House Sundays in your life.

Starting at 2PM, and going through until 10PM (get planning that after-party now), here’s what’s in store:

You’ll find all the deets, including where to buy tickets, on the events page here.

We’ll throw one more event into the ring, in case you’re the kind who likes to plan things a few weekends in advance.

Look at you go – all grown up.

Jozi folk be having it on May 12 with Deep Town Jozi Ft. Dj Christos & Gforce, taking place in Newtown. That’s a Saturday, so you can let loose because this one goes on until well after midnight.

Again, you’ve got Sol to thank for this one:

    What a vaaaab.

It pays to buy tickets online, rather than at the door, so get all of those details on the event page here.

You’re free to do as you please with your long weekend, but we’d suggest you spend some of it sipping on an ice-cold Sol.

Oh, and for those of you who have to head to work on Monday – sorry for you.

    Thoughts and prayers.
