Hoo boy.
Robotics company Boston Dynamics is back at it again, and their latest creation will either blow your mind or freak you the hell out.
After revealing their Robodogs three months back, the company has released a new video of its humanoid robot, Atlas, going for a nice jog.
You know, because robots need some exercise, too.
Per a report by Business Insider South Africa:
In the video, titled “Getting some air, Atlas?” our new robot overlord runs in a shockingly humanoid fashion, expertly negotiating uneven terrain. The robot even jumps clean over a log, demonstrating its dexterity.
Take a look at “our new robot overlord” doing the thing:
Sjoe, Atlas. You’re destined for the Olympics, pal.
Boston Dynamics also released a video late last year of Atlas jumping through an obstacle course and performing a clean backflip:
This could be the greatest thing to ever happen or end of humanity as we know it, folks.
Either way, you gotta feel sorry for Atlas not clearing the last obstacle and taking a nasty face-plant like a boss.
Silly ol’ robot.
