The royal wedding has come and gone, folks. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have driven off in a Jaguar E-Type together into the sunset (or at least as far as their wedding reception).
But now that the newly-titled Duke of Sussex is off the market, you might be thinking that your dream of getting married to a real-life Prince Charming is in serious jeopardy.
Don’t fret, my friends! There are plenty of eligible, aristocratic bachelors out there that are still up for grabs.
Of course, every country and city has their own list of available bachelors.
Here in Cape Town, the likes of Marcus Brain and Bruce Good will instantly get the pulses racing. But if it’s blue blood of the British variety that you’re after, then you’re in luck.
Here are five of the most majestic single men in Britain right now, per The Telegraph:
Louis Spencer, the Viscount of Althorp (seen here with his family) turned heads and then some when he attended Prince Harry and Markle’s wedding at St George’s Chapel last Saturday. The 24-year-old viscount is Princess Diana’s nephew, and I can tell you right now that he’s definitely not taken.
The 27-year-old Hugh Grosvenor, the Duke of Westminster isn’t only lacking a main squeeze, but he’s also the 68th richest person on the planet after inheriting his father’s R150 billion fortune. Plus, it looks like he keeps himself out of trouble as he barely appears in the gossip columns.
What a dream come true, huh? Except for the fact that he looks about 12.
This handsome fellow is Edward Downpatrick. A financial analyst educated at Oxford, the 29-year-old is grandson of the Duke of Kent and the godson of Princess Diana. He’s said to be a “serious young man” after his stint as the president of an infamous elite society, the Bullingdon Club.
Maybe a significant other could put a smile on that face?
One of Wales’ richest men, Gregory Mostyn, the seventh Baron Mostyn, aged 33, is rolling in the dough. His vast estate includes Mostyn Hall, a chunk of Llandudno (no, not the one in Cape Town), and bits and pieces of Flintshire. Altogether, the estate’s worth over R800 million.
Sound keen on Mostyn and his fashion sense?
Last but not least is Charles Innes-Ker, the Marquess of Bowmont and Cessford. Well, technically he’s already got a sweetheart (partner Morvarid Sahafi, pictured left), but it’s not like they’ve already tied the knot or anything.
Eh, a person can dream.
Anyway, the 37-year-old Marquess is poised to become the Duke of Roxburghe and inherit a R2 billion estate. Remember that if anything happens.
So, which of these noble singles caught your fancy? Who knows, if you find success with one of them, remember who introduced you to them in the first place and send us a wedding invite.
