I suppose it’s Throwback Thursday, so we should start with reminding you that Dave Grohl suffered a broken leg the last time the Foo Fighters performed at Gothenburg’s Ullevi Stadium.
That didn’t stop him from rocking out shortly after that leg break, because that’s just what Dave does, man.
All of that took place around three years back, and on Tuesday the band made a triumphant return to the stadium.
Dave decided to have a little fun, though, and I reckon quite a few fans must have had a sickening sense of deja vu when he disappeared from sight.
Check it:
How did he get back on stage so quickly? Rolling Stone, over to you:
…a fake “Dave Grohl” joined his bandmates onstage and ran out onto the catwalk, where the stunt double slipped and fell into the area between the crowd and the stage.
Rather than keeping fans confused, the band kept playing following the fall as Grohl quickly made his way onstage to reveal the ruse.
After the show, they shared this picture as part of an Instagram Story:
Rock on, amigos.
