Elon Musk Apologises For Being A Douchebag

It’s not going to stop people from hating on him, but at least Elon said sorry.

He has had a torrid year on social media thus far, and his latest monumental gaffe was to call one of the Thai rescue divers a ‘pedo’.

Pro tip – the world watched on and applauded the extraordinary heroics of all involved, so you might want to pull back on accusing one of the people who led those efforts of being a sexual predator.

Elon’s apology comes via Twitter, of course, and starts by citing this article, titled “What’s the full story behind Elon Musk’s involvement with the Thai cave rescue effort?”

It’s an article that defends Musk’s efforts, and he picked up on that and ran with it.

Unsworth told him to stick his submarine “where it hurts”, which could be construed as a sexual act.

Depends what you’re into, I guess.

I dunno, hey – something about this apology seems a little off to me.
