Woe betide anyone who dares to shit on Tom Cruise and his stuntwork.

Even though the guy is well into his 50s, Cruise is the poster child for performing his own movie stunts – from the Top Gun sequel to his upcoming flick Mission: Impossible – Fallout, this guy shows no sign of letting up soon.

Of course, James Corden tried to pass off a little shade about Cruise’s stunt shenanigans when the actor swung by The Late, Late Show on Tuesday, reports The Huffington Post.

Cue a calm-looking Cruise issuing an invitation to Corden to go sky-diving with him (’round about the 2:20 mark):

Surprisingly enough, Corden took up the challenge.

It was only when he turned up at an airfield in Perris Valley, California on Thursday that he realised that he had buggered up big time.

Throughout it all, Cruise was revelling in the man’s terror.
