Look who’s back and desperate to be relevant again?
It’s only Steve Hofmeyr – disliked by his old classmates, and determined to continue to stoke up hate on social media with his attention-grabbing antics
Here’s the tweet that Steve fired into the atmosphere on Saturday.
What is the point of this? Your guess is as good as mine, but when you know this will cause outrage, I’m inclined to go with the attention-seeking angle:
A quick look at some of the better responses:
This is probably my favourite exchange:
Oh Stephen, go and play outside in the traffic.
Hofmeyr also retweeted free-speech advocate Ricky Gervais earlier this morning:
Fair point, but we’re allowed to take the piss out of said free speech when somebody is clearly looking for a reaction.
Oh, “Black Nazis” is a thing now:
I guess Steve is going to be Steve, and that’s why the large majority of South Africans want nothing to do with him.
Tweet what you want, pal, but if you really want to be a part of the national dialogue, and bring any credence to the issues that are clearly close to your heart (farm murders, government corruption, why the Blue Bulls will no longer play your song at Loftus before kick-off), you might want to start by cutting this shite out.
We won’t hold our breaths.
