Face-swapping celebrities in clips and images is an endless source of entertainment on the internet.
The latest contribution to the trend, however, didn’t go quite as planned.
YouTube’s derpfakes account is known for their comical doctoring of famous scenes from movies and television, usually using Nicolas Cage’s face.
In their latest compilation, writes Huffington Post, they face-swapped Cage and Ross from Friends.
Nic and Ross become one 34 seconds into the video:
If you struggled to tell the difference between Ross in his natural state and Ross with Cage’s face, then you aren’t alone.
One Reddit user noted that “Ross from Friends with Nicolas Cage’s face on him just looks more like Ross”.
I’ll be honest, everyone was making such a big deal about this, I was expecting more…
Ross looks like a lot of people – including this guy who lifted a case of beer from a convenience store.
