Yes, I am still grieving the fact that England won the Cricket World Cup in the most dramatic circumstances, but seeing Roger Federer surrender two Wimbledon championship points against Novak Djokovic also stings.
He can win all he wants, but Djokovic will never rival Roger, or Rafa Nadal, in the popularity stakes.
Both men are revered for their prowess on the court, and respected for their conduct off it. For this Throwback Thursday, we’re casting our minds back to 2010, and the shooting of the promotional video for the inaugural ‘The Match for Africa’.
Tennis fans will know that ‘The Match for Africa 6’ is taking place in Cape Town next year. To get you in the mood, here are two of tennis’ all-time greats completely unable to hold it together:
