  • This Is What R15,5 Million A Month Rents You In The Hamptons

The struggle is real for multi-millionaires and billionaires who want to holiday in the Hamptons, but don’t want to commit to buying property.

If you find yourself in this rather inconvenient situation, you could always rent something.

Jay-Z and Beyoncé, for example, favour this charming little estate known as ‘The Sandcastle’ situated in Bridgehampton at 612 Halsey Lane.

For a cool $1 million (around R15,5 million) a month, it could be yours.

According to Business Insider, it’s the most expensive rental in the Hamptons – but it’s a small price to pay for the best, right?

    Let’s take a look inside.

The main house spans 17 000 square feet.

It has all the rich-people trimmings, including white furniture that somebody else cleans.

The kitchen is also pretty impressive.

This is one of 11 bedrooms:

Then there are 10 full bathrooms and five half bathrooms:

    A bowling alley:

    A basketball court:

    A private spa:

A movie theatre, which combined with the bowling alley, spa and so on means that you never have to leave the house to interact with the common folk.

    A baseball field:

Oh, and there’s a pool, but you probably guessed that.

    Finally, the tennis courts. Lovely.

There’s just one tiny little problem.

The house will be used to host a fundraiser for Trump’s 2020 campaign soon. If for some reason you’d like to attend, you can snap up a ticket for between $5 600 and $35 000 per couple.

It’s going to take a whole lot of industrial cleaner to get the stench of racism and hypocrisy out of there when it’s over.
