I’m not a big fan of watching Carte Blanche on a Sunday evening.
One must try and enjoy the dying embers of the weekend as best one can, and in the age of streaming, I also cannot stand the ad breaks viewers must endure.
The segments eventually end up on the Carte Blanche site, though, and seeing as though the weekend is well and truly over, we’re going in.
Their most recent show featured a segment called ‘A Serial Killers’ Playground’, with this description:
From the infamous Moses Sithole to the ‘Quarry murderer’ Richard Jabulani Nyauza – South Africa has a long history of serial killers. In fact, with 117 recorded killers, SA ranks third on the list of countries with the most serial killers in the world.
Now, weeks after five homeless men were found dead around Pretoria, could a new serial killer still be on the loose?
As is evident from one of America’s most prolific serial killers, the homeless and disenfranchised are often the easiest targets.
