    The British public has spoken.

The world’s most famous royal family has been ranked from most to least favourite by internet-based market research and data analytics company, YouGov.

In this odd popularity contest, the Queen came out on top as the most popular royal. It’s not that surprising, and was probably inspired by fear.

She’s really old, still has her wits about her, and shows no sign of slowing down.

We might have to reconcile ourselves to the fact that the Queen is probably immortal now and therefore shouldn’t be crossed.

    We’ve all seen Highlander.

    Here’s Channel24:

Queen Elizabeth II took the throne in 1952 and celebrated her diamond jubilee in 2012. That means she’s been Britain’s queen for 67 years, making her the longest reigning monarch in British history.

Most people respect Queen Elizabeth as she’s been the head of state – Queen of the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth realms – and for most, the leader they know and love. It only makes sense that she tops the list for the most popular royal.

Sure. I like my theory better.

Before we take a look at the infographic that ranks all of the royals, here’s a quick video explaining how the family works:

    And on to the rankings:

Shem, Meghan comes in after Prince Philip – the man who routinely says inappropriate things and is no longer allowed to drive.

That’s got to sting a little.
