When artists Catherine King and Wayne Adams decided to live off the grid they were not going to do things the normal way.
The couple decided to take it to the next level with their own personal hand-made island.
Floating off the coast of Vancouver Island, a 45-minute boat ride from the nearest town, you’ll find their sustainable island fortress complete with a dance floor, art gallery and garden.
For the couple, this is a labour of love that was 24 years in the making.
I’ll let them tell you about it:
When the zombie apocalypse happens, I’m moving there.
