The wind this past weekend wasn’t just cold and strong, it was borderline offensive.
While living in Cape Town during the summer months comes with a lot of perks, like close proximity to the ocean and the Winelands, it also comes with the type of wind that threatens to snap you up and carry you off to Oz.
I didn’t leave the house on Saturday, but a lot of brave Capetonians ventured out onto the city streets.
Among them, reports TimesLIVE, was photographer Esa Alexander, who captured the struggle:

We seem to have gone back to normal wind speeds for the time being, although you never know when you’re going to get blown away.
Hey, at least it’s officially summer.
