If you care, two minor royals are now rivals in the Chinese milk industry.

The Queen’s grandson, Peter Phillips (15th in line for the throne), and Princess Diana’s niece, Kitty Spencer, both appeared in Chinese milk adverts recently and it’s…scandalous?

If you want some real gossip, look into Kitty’s relationship with South African fashion tycoon, Michael Lewis.

If you really want to take a deep dive, there’s even a connection between Kitty’s sister and some of the key players in the Bishops sex scandal.

If you are here for the milk, The Mirror has everything that you need to know.

Putting her face to Satine Jersey milk, the daughter of Earl Spencer posed with a cup of tea for photos at the British Museum while Peter has jumped on board with Shanghai-based Bright Dairies.

Both first cousins of William and Harry, Lady Kitty and Peter’s dairy promotion campaigns kicked off in June last year, with products billing themselves as from Jersey cows and targeting the Chinese middle-class market.

In her advert, Lady Kitty sips tea in the famous museum:

And here’s the rival advert featuring Peter Phillips, who declares that he drinks milk:

Yeah, we all know cow’s milk is on its way out, and almond milk is murdering bees.

It’s all about that oat milk now. Get with the program, Kitty and Peter.

Ok Ja oat milk is served at Cafe du Cap – 113 Loop Street, Cape Town – so give it a bash when you pop in.

    OK JA Oat Milk

It’s also sold on Takealot – a 12 pack of one-litre milks retails at R399.

Well done, you’re officially better than royalty.
