I am eternally grateful that my most reckless drinking days came before most phones had cameras.

It’s bad enough waking up with a pounding headache and a lingering sense of shame, without wondering if my antics are going to end up on social media.

Some folks are not so lucky, and I reckon a few of the people interviewed for YouTube channel All Gas No Brakes’ Fourth of July special are regretting their day drinking.

That’s this past Fourth of July, which is less than three weeks ago, but we’ve never put rules around what constitutes a Throwback, so here we are.

In case you’re not familiar with his style, Andrew Callaghan enjoys being as awkward as possible, and lets those being interviewed do most of the talking.

The COVID-19 pandemic doesn’t seem to be much of a concern to these revellers in Marquette, Michigan, even though the state currently has more than 75 000 cases, and more than 6 000 deaths.
