Sam Cox, or Mr Doodle as he has come to be known, is a professional doodler from England.
If I’d known that was a career option, I would have paid more attention to the squiggles I produced when I should have been learning something in school.
His work consumes walls, furniture, and other surfaces, and is often described as ‘Graffiti Spaghetti’.
This is because his clusters of characters, objects, and patterns group together in a formation that appears grow relentlessly.
He describes it as a “DoodleWorld aesthetic”.

It’s impressive and a little unnerving. I reckon he’s a bit of a hazard if you invite him into your home.
Having covered everything near him in doodles, Mr Doodle has now turned to fashion, in collaboration with PUMA.

The collaboration features a host of PUMA sneakers, including the recently reworked RS-2K, Cali Wedge, Leadcat and the Mile Rider. Each of the sneakers features the iconic patterns across the upper and midsole.
The RS-2K features various decorative elements across the canvas including asymmetric lacing, doodles on the midsole, as well as a doodle arrow below the laces.
The Mile Rider on the other hand, while also featuring the squiggles, includes a sporty mesh upper with colourful overlays.
I’m a fan.
It’s cool to see PUMA keeping it fresh and mixing it up a bit with a more artsy, whimsical collection.
