Barack Obama was far from the perfect president, and his legacy will be picked apart for many years to come, especially with regards to the Iraq War.
What is undeniable, however, is that he’s good at bringing a smile to the faces of those who love him.
Take retired Maryland auditor Joyce Taylor, for example, who is a self-professed Obama superfan.
The former president has been doing the rounds to promote his new memoir, A Promised Land, and he recently visited Jimmy Kimmel for a chat.
During the visit, Kimmel tricked Taylor into believing that she was watching a pre-recording of Obama reading from A Promised Land.
When she realised that Obama was actually talking directly to her, Taylor was overcome with emotion.
It’s pretty heartwarming to watch this one unfold, with the penny dropping around the 1:10 mark:
