For decades jetpacks were the stuff of science fiction, but now they’re popping up everywhere.
There’s the infamous ‘guy in a jetpack’ who wreaked havoc at Los Angeles International Airport for a while, although some suspect he isn’t a guy at all.
Tesla has been working on a hovercar called the Model F. Meanwhile, inventor Frank Zapata has combined the hovercraft and the jetpack to bring you the “Flyboard Air”.
More recently, per TweakTown, the Royal Marines took to the skies using Gravity Industries’ Gravity Jet Suit, packing 1000bhp of power, to fly from a boat to a ship – and it was smooth.
