I am not sure how many Beliebers are out there anymore, considering how last, last, last year Justin Bieber is.

If you are a Belieber, though, there’s no need to raise your hand. Just sit tight because there’s a new documentary about your boy’s life that is about to hit Amazon Prime Video.

In fact, Justin Bieber: Our World might be one for the Beliebers and the Beliebers only, given that it pretty much touts how amazing he is for much of its 95-minute run time.

The doccie follows the international pop sensation as he prepares to close out 2020 with a COVID-19-era live-streamed concert on New Year’s Eve from the top of the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles.

The gig, which was called T-Mobile Presents New Year’s Eve Live With Justin Bieber, was his first live performance since he cancelled the final 14 shows of his 2017 tour.

    HYPEBEAST has the lowdown:

The film gives fans an intimate look at how Bieber and his team prepared for the monumental performance for 240 in-person guests and millions of fans across the world via live-stream.

The trailer discusses why Bieber decided to take a long hiatus from performing, citing that it was best for his health at the time. Audiences get a sneak peek of Bieber’s private life as well as how he prepares for his on-stage performances.

    Trailer time:

The film was directed by Michael D. Ratner, who has worked with Bieber on numerous past projects.

As any true Belieber would know, this isn’t the first doccie about Bieber, following on from 2011’s Justin Bieber: Never Say Never and 2013’s Justin Bieber’s Believe.

His documentary series Justin Bieber: Seasons received stinging criticism when it was released in 2020, with some describing it as “nothing but boredom and snogging”.

We’ll let you decide about Justin Bieber: Our World, which will hit Amazon Prime Video on October 8.
