To quote a favourite character of mine from Austin Powers, get in my belly.
Tuesdays are better than Mondays for a number of reasons.
Your weekend hangover has (hopefully) subsided, you’re one day closer to the weekend, and nobody can say you have ‘a case of the Mondays’ if you’re a little moody.
Oh, and if you happen to be in Cape Town, Café Caprice is running its famous two-for-one burger special.
The American is a thing of beauty – 180 grams of grass-fed beef patty basted in their homemade BBQ sauce, with cheddar & mozzarella, mustard mayo, ketchup, and a house pickle, served with skinny fries.
But it’s a tough call between that and the Royal for me, which comes with crispy bacon, cheddar, chilli oil and onion rings.
I’ll let you peruse the menu and make your own call.
There are also half-price nachos and selected cocktails from 4PM to 6PM, every Monday to Thursday.
