It has become clear that King Charles III and pens do not mix well after he had two separate meltdowns over the leaky inky things.
You can trust Trevor Noah to make the King’s problems with pens even more hilarious on The Daily Show.
Noah briefly commiserated with the royal for having lost both of his parents over the past 18 months (both in their 90s so it was to be expected), noting how this meant it was all up to Charles to make the monarchy into something that “everyone can get behind”.
“But based on his first week in power, looks like King Charles isn’t the guy to do it,” Noah pointed out.
Give the segment a watch:
Trevor is our obvious fav, but other talk show hosts have also dug their fingers into the royals over the past week, per The Guardian.
Watch Stephen Colbert mourn the death of Queen Elizabeth II in his own, unique way:
King Charles III has already absorbed his late mother’s financial portfolio worth billions.
Without the 40% inheritance tax that applies to most British subjects, it must be noted.
Listen out for Colbert’s joke about that.
