Supercars and branded sneakers are a part of the same family.
They both get you from A to B while making you look as fly as possible.
That’s why combining Porsche and PUMA just makes perfect sense.
Porsche Design is no stranger to the world of sneaker culture and the German design studio is still having fun in the sneaker scene thanks to PUMA.
Sneaker News notes the Porsche Design x PUMA Wild Rider sneaker, celebrating and emulating the legendary Porsche 911 Classic Club Coupe (she’s up top in all her glory), comes with a limited number of 1955 pairs.
The shoes draw references to the sportscar’s grey-on-blue colour palette as well as her aerodynamic design.
These trainers are tough, cool, and ready for the road – the perfect trainer for driving in style.
The sneakers come stamped with the “PCA Classic Club Coupe” marking along with a photo book that documents the two-and-a-half-year restoration project history between Porsche Classic and the Porsche Club of America.
The reason there are only 1955 pairs in stock is also to do with PCA, honouring the founding year.
At the moment, the PCA Classic Club Coupe Limited Edition Wild Rider is only available to Porsche Club of America members with a valid membership ID.
There are other Porsche-inspired PUMA sneakers out there, and the best news is that some of them are on sale as a part of Black Friday:
The Porsche Legacy Suede Motorsport Shoes take PUMA’s never-out-of-fashion Suede style and gives it a motorsport revamp, inspired by some of the most iconic Porsches:
Besides the PUMA Formstrip on the one side, you’ll also get the Porsche Legacy branding on the other side as well as on the tongue.
In total, there are five Porsche / PUMA shoes available and four are part of the Black Friday sale.
Porsche and PUMA doing their thing together just make sense.
