Cape Town’s beaches are a source of immense pride for locals, and to keep our ‘destination of choice’ status, Fitch & Leedes and 41 Restaurant will be teaming up with the Camps Bay community for an epic beach cleanup on Saturday, 10 June, from 9h00 – 10h00.
Grab some gloves and come make a difference!
Local eatery, The 41 Restaurant will also be offering complimentary Fitch & Leedes beverages for each participant, and the person collecting the most litter will win two of their famous ’41’ hamburgers.
The two families collecting the most litter will also win a home composting bin and 3 months of Compost collection service, or a 3-month Recycling collection service offered by Clearer Conscience.
Harcourts Atlantic will also offer spot prizes for those who care about our collective backyard.
Everyone’s favourite mayor, Geordin Hill-Lewis, will also be getting his hands dirty and joining residents in the cleanup. Just bring your own gloves and the organisers will make sure there are enough trash bags going around.
Bring your family and friends, or make a date out of it and show that special someone you care about the world.
If you’re interested, you can meet up with other Cape Townians at the upper parking of Maiden’s Cove. For more details, check out the Fitch & Leedes Instagram page:
