Johan, a spokesperson for Air du Cap, remarked on the achievements of the fledgling business. “We couldn’t be more excited about how our first festive season unfolded. The positive response we’ve received from passengers and the demand for charter flights to unique destinations is a clear indication that our vision for Air du Cap is resonating with clients. It’s a testament to the value of providing personalized and reliable service in the aviation industry.”

The success in December comes as a significant milestone for Air du Cap, particularly considering the challenges faced by new entrants in the aviation sector. The company, operating under a Part 135 Air Operator Certificate (AOC), aims to provide a premium charter service with a focus on customer satisfaction, safety, and flexibility.

“We’re thrilled with the momentum we’ve gained in such a short time. Our flights to smaller, less-serviced destinations like De Aar and Graaff-Reinet have shown that there is a growing need for accessible, on-demand charter services. This is the start of something big, and we’re just getting warmed up.”

“2024 was about laying the groundwork for success, and 2025 will be about building on that foundation,” Johan explained.

“We are committed to becoming the go-to charter service for the Western, Eastern, and Northern Cape regions. This year, we’ll continue to focus on enhancing the customer experience, growing our fleet, and solidifying our reputation as a trusted name in aviation.”

Its footprint in the south firmly established, Air du Cap will soon turn its gaze toward Gauteng, with flights from Lanseria to the bush expected to be announced soon.
