One of the more famous explorer superyachts visited our shores recently. The 77-metre rugged explorer Yersin was spotted in Cape Town Harbour last week after an extensive refit in Marseille.
The vessel is designed to accommodate up to 18 guests in eight staterooms, and her interiors span six decks connected by a guest elevator.
Showcasing a contemporary aesthetic in soft neutrals, accented by modern art and expansive windows, the Yersin is equipped with state-of-the-art tech and offers a variety of exterior amenities, including a Jacuzzi surrounded by sunpads and multiple alfresco dining areas.
In 2017, it was announced that the Yersin was to begin a three-year cruise of the oceans, with the aim of ground-breaking ocean research under the patronage of HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco.
